MyInfo – Search Criteria

On the search criteria page for any taggable element in the DI system (permits, wells, user points, etc.) you will see a blue two part MyInfo Criteria section.

MyInfo Tag Criteria - Where you enter criteria that will constrain your search to the tag data you have previously entered into the DI system via MyInfo.

1. Name & Category Criteria – This name comes form the name and category present in a tag signature (a specific combination of a name, category and unit. (example: Wilcox - Formation Top - Feet))

2. Value Criteria - A "value" in MyInfo refers to any textual or numeric data that you have entered when tagging an element in the DI system. When you tag an element in the DI system it will most likely contain a name, category, unit, and value.

Any Value: This will return any elements that are tagged with the name/ category combination you have selected above regardless of the value.

Text Value: Textual searches include searching by Lease Name, Operator Name, Field, and/or Reservoir. When searching by these items, there are a few rules to keep in mind. The text you type will match anything in the database that STARTS WITH what you enter. For example, if you enter Texaco for the Operator, that will match Texaco and Texaco Oil and also Texaco Oil Inc. but not Tex Exploration.

In general, It is better to type less than more because if you type Texaco Oil and the database has it as Texaco, you will not find what you are looking for.

Numeric Range Value: If you have a tagged element with a value of 5545 for example, this element will be returned in your search if it falls within the range you enter in the "from" and "to" fields for this criterion.

MyInfo Columns to Display in Table and Map Hovers – Where you select which tag data you would like to be displayed in the table view and in map hovers. All of your available tag signatures will be listed in this area.
