Lease Number, Gas ID, or LUW Code

Create an Area of Interest (AOI) that monitors activity based upon the lease number, gas ID, or LUW code of your choosing. Through this method, you can stay informed of activity for a particular well, keep track of permits, leasing, and completions from a particular well, be notified by email and have the information recorded in your AOI.

First, give your AOI a descriptive name in the Description box.

Then, choose the State in which you want to monitor. When choosing a state other than Texas, the form will refresh to offer the correct items associated with that state.

For Texas:

Choose a Type - either Oil Lease or Gas ID. The form will refresh to offer the correct items associated the type. For Oil Lease, choose a District and type in Lease Number. For Gas ID, type in Gas ID number.

For Louisiana:

Type a code for the LUW Code.

Select the Search Area. Choose a certain mileage within the lease number, gas ID or LUW code location to monitor.

Once you select a state and search area, choose the Initial Search Period, Items to Monitor and Notification (if you want email). Your email address is indicated next to the Notification option. Make sure this is the email address you want information sent to. If you want to have information sent to another email address, click the Change my email link, type in the email address and click the Update button.

Once you have defined your AOI by lease number, gas ID, or LUW code, click the Finish button and your AOI will be saved in Your Areas of Interest table.
