ND Production Reporting

• Operators are required to file monthly well production reports by the first day of the second succeeding month for Oil production and the fifth day of the second succeeding month for gas production.

• This means that digital monthly production data is available from the Industrial Commission of North Dakota Oil and Gas Division (ICONDOGD) a minimum of one month after the first day of each month, plus any data entry time required by the Commission staff.  Production records may appear in the DrillingInfo system 35 to 75 days from the end of the production month for this reason.

• Monthly production data is updated in the DrillingInfo system weekly using the latest digital records from the ICONDOGD.

• The ICONDOGD may receive amendments for production from Operators. Records may change for historical production for this reason.

• The ICONDOGD does not assign a Lease Number, but instead identifies a production stream by assigning a Well File Number and identifying each producing reservoir.  These 2 values are captured in the DI system and appear in place of the Lease Number on Production reporting pages.

• The ICONDOGD reports gas disposition in amount of gas produced, flared and sold.  Drillinginfo reports this in the One-Page Production Summary ( produced = sold + flared ).  Flared is reported in the Other column.
